Stephany Israeli Adara was first inspired by middle-eastern culture on her travels to Israel as well as her time living in Portland, Oregon where she met belly dancers who specialized in fusion belly dance and belly dance theater. A lifelong musician, she holds a degree in Music and Jazz Performance Art and is currently certified in Rachel Brice's 8 Elements of Belly Dance and Zoe Jakes' Dancecraft format.

In addition to 25 years of music study and 10 years in-depth dance study, Stephany is an experienced choreographer and show creator who wrote the original production Dance of the Elements which debuted in 2017. She has taken classes and intensives with world-renowned belly dance super stars such as Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Sylvia Salamanca and more. She has been a featured soloist and headliner in Madison's belly dance festival, Shimmy in the Grain, taught her own unique style of health-oriented belly dance movement classes in Madison, Wisconsin, and hosted workshops in Green Bay, Appleton, Madison, and Oshkosh focused on choreography, theatricality, and musicality and zil playing for dancers.
